Technology and innovation – the focus at Australasian Gaming Expo 2018

In Australia, gambling spending rose from $22.7 billion in 2014-2015 to $23.6 billion in 2015-2016 (an increase of 3.9 percent). Held from Aug. 14-16, 2018, the Australian Gaming Expo is an annual event run by the Gaming Technology Association with an emphasis on fostering sustainable and prosperous industries.

AGE is the biggest event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. This year’s program focuses on technology and innovation across the entire spectrum, with more than 200 domestic and international exhibitors participating as well as industry-led seminars covering new technologies, games, hospitality, services, and end customers.

Ross Ferar, CEO of the Game Technology Association, shares his insights into the changing industry and what it means for the future,

“Our event is critical for the health of the industry – connections to casinos, pubs, clubs and hotels, education, regulation, technology and trends, business. It’s about empowering local businesses to thrive.
